Advanced CanSkate

The Advanced CanSkate program is designed for skaters who have moved beyond the basics and are ready to refine their skills at a higher level. This program focuses on enhancing technique, speed, and precision, with a strong emphasis on developing advanced skating elements such as edges, jumps, and turns.

Skaters will continue to build balance, control, and agility while working towards mastering the skills needed for figure skating, hockey, ringette, or speed skating. Led by experienced, certified coaches, the Advanced CanSkate program offers a challenging yet supportive environment that encourages growth and performance.

Whether skaters are aiming for competitive success or simply looking to elevate their skating, this program provides the perfect combination of technical training and fun.

Advanced CanSkate is for skaters who have completed the CanSkate program. As a general guideline, it may also be suitable for new skaters aged 11 or older, who may benefit from starting directly in Advanced CanSkate rather than CanSkate.

Advanced CanSkate Requirements:
All Advanced CanSkate participants must have their own skates and a CSA-certified hockey helmet, which is mandatory. Skaters may wear either hockey skates or figure skates, based on personal preference. A face cage is optional, but strongly recommended for younger skaters for added protection.
