P.R.O. Kids Applications
Now Open for the 2026–2027 Skating Season
P.R.O. Kids applications for the 2026 Fall skating season are now open!
If you are planning to register with the Saint John Skating Club and would like to apply for financial assistance through P.R.O. Kids, you can begin your application now.
Application Deadline:
Saturday, August 15th, 2026
Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, so families are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Information You’ll Need for Your Application
When completing your P.R.O. Kids application, please use the following information:
- Organization: Saint John Skate Club (CANSKATE)
- Estimated Program Start Date: October 1st, 2026
- Estimated Program End Date: March 31st, 2027
- Estimated Program Cost: $350
Please note: Program fees for the 2026–2027 season have not yet been finalized, as they depend on the City of Saint John’s ice rental rates, which have not yet been confirmed. The estimated program cost of $350 is based on last season’s pricing and is provided solely to help families complete their P.R.O. Kids application. Actual registration fees may vary depending on the program selected (for example, PreCanSkate or CanSkate), the number of skating sessions per week, and the final program fees for the season.
P.R.O. Kids funding may not cover the full cost of registration, and families are responsible for any remaining balance. Families who receive Fall funding can apply again during the Winter application period for additional P.R.O. Kids funding to help offset the remaining cost of the season.
